Wordly is the easiest way to manage your writing projects.
Simply start the timer when you begin writing, and stop the timer when you finish writing. Type in the number of words you have written during the session, and Wordly takes care of the rest.
Writing Journal will then save the data and take all the hassle out of keeping track of what you're writing.
There are loads of amazing stats to look at... For example:
- Your words per hour
- Words written today
- Words written this week
- Words written this month
- Hours logged today
- Hours logged this week
- Hours logged this month
Plus, you can visually see your writing trends by view the graphs.
Need to see your writing logs in Excel? In just two taps you can export all of your data in a .CSV file so that it can be viewed in Excel.
Fixed In App Purchase Bugs
Ratings and Reviews
Update (July 13, 2016): Still doesn't work. Broke down and finally deleted it. The reinstall did no good. Still won't open. If I could give it a zero star I would.
Update (January 30, 2016): Still cannot use the app after 4 months. There have been no updates since November. Used to love this app and paid for full version. Would not recommend anymore. Emails have been ignored and no efforts seemed to have been made to fix the crashing problem many users are having.
Update (November 23, 2015) there has been another update. Now the app shows the title screen for a second and then crashes. My previous review still applies....
Previous review: Since the most recent update (in October 2015), the app no longer works. Bought the full version a long time ago and had about 5 novels' worth of data on there. Also missed out on tracking my NaNoWriMo progress. I have not tried to remove the app and download it again for fear of losing the data I have on there. I am hoping this will get fixed. However, I have already sent two emails to support and have received no response as of yet.
Great little app
This is easy to use, and with the one time “premium” fee, I can keep track of multiple writing projects. Definitely keeps me motivated!
Only thing I’m not a huge fan of (and this is literally picking at details), is the requirement of adding time when manually adding words. Sometimes I am doing a combination of researching and writing, so I don’t time myself. It’s more me being neurotic than anything wrong with the app.
Either way, I am so glad I came across this!
Works great to keep me on track
I love being able to set a goal for myself and have an app to help me keep it.
I'm able to track my daily word count easily and when I'm done with a session, it breaks it down into a wph and how long I was writing for.
The only thing I don't care for is that I'm only able to do one project at a time unless I want to upgrade to pro for $3. I think I'll be able to live with one at a time.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
