What's New in Version 3.4.1

Fixed: We like to save you time, which is why we’ve fixed the bug that meant that you had to click on a to-do before you could click on its link.
Fixed: If your app was crashing when you searched for unsynced to-dos, we’re sorry about that one. We’ve now sent that pesky bug to a galaxy far, far away.
Fixed: If you came across some strange options when right-clicking in a Smart List, then you’ll be glad to hear we’ve fixed that issue.
Fixed: We went a bit avant-garde with some of our UI. Apparently the world is not quite ready for uncentered images so we tweaked a few minor UI issues in this update.
Fixed: Were your due dates looking a bit weird when using the calendar in Japanese or Thai? Gomen'nasai (sorry)! We’ve fixed that strange bug.

Customer Reviews

Overall a great program, needs some minor tweaks

I've tried multiple other list-making programs prior to Wunderlist but after a couple of weeks with each found they werent quite right. I immediately liked how WL felt intuitive, and logical. I bought the pro version after several weeks of using it as it included the ability to share photos and files too.

I primarily use it for work to organize punch lists for my clients projects. The main category lists include a nice feature in that once you check and item its automaticailly hidden, but can be accessed later if needed. For some strange reason though WL didnt feel the need to extend that same feture to their sub-category lists, (even though there are essentially the same) so those can get cluttered especially if you use them extensively, as I do.

I would really like to see that feature extended to the sub-category lists, which would make it a 5 stars app imho. Overall though its great and very useful.

Updated Review after 7 Months Usage

I have been using this app for a little over 7 Months and I have to say that I am impressed with it. I have removed all other list applications that I used and I have not regreted it. This focus allowed me to really see the applications strengths and weaknesses.

“The Good"

Nothing is pefect guys but there is nothing wrong trying to be perfect. The app shines in terms of organization, keeping you up to date on changes, and being a web based applicaiton, the cross device functionality is always a plus. Presentation, ease of use are all pluses. I love the sub-task feature, notes, and the ability to team up with it.

“The Bad"

What about the flaws? One of the things that has irked me down to a 3/5 rating is the simple fact that I cannot organize dates for re-occuring tasks the way I want. I hate to say this, but you guys should know how Outlook date re-occurences work. I guess I want something like that or better. I want to set a schedule for re-occurences as many ways possible, that would include/exclude any day/hour/minute. The sub-tasks could use some work to. I feel like there is room for growth there. In some cases, it just seems like a list that you add your main task and not “actual” sub task that you can assign dates, and re-occurrences to.

“Summary”

So far so good. If the above flaws can be addressed, I think we would be looking at the ultimate task application.

It’s a Tremendous App, however...

What would be most helpful is if they could develop a way to allow lists to have sub projects / or sublists within each list so that each that you could have sub tasks with dates and comments applied as well. I think adding this layer would be most helpful! Cause if you have multiple companies you work with, you may have desires for multiple lists under each of those, and to ‘see all’ the lists in just that particular company.

For instance:

Company Y, would be cool to have multiple lists underneath it where you ONLY see this company and various departments / projects
* Development
* Marketing
* Paper Plane Project

Each with their own subtasks, and assignable dates etc…

What drives me crazy is you can’t enjoy the ‘view all' with multiple lists and be able to clearly prioritize tasks without assigning dates. I wish an add-on would be that items can be dragged and sorted and not necessarily in just the list, but mixing with other lists. So if I have things to do in a given day, I can check out my view all, and sort priorities that aren’t relegated to just their list.
