Great in theory, not in practice
The idea behind this system is great. But it's not executed well. The system is extremely slow to connect and constantly logs you out. So trying to quickly view the camera is something that is not going to happen. Makes me feel very unsafe (the opposite of why I purchased this) when you hear a noise or a knock at the door and it takes up to 5 minutes to finally view the camera feed. And that's when the camera connects at all. The camera itself needs to be constantly rebooted (unplugged and plugged back in) or else it doesn't work. I'm hoping future updates will come quickly and fix these issues, as it is our safety that is at risk. A Touch ID login option would be very welcomed.
I don't know why some others rate lower than 4⭐, but I give it a 5⭐ rate. It's been very good for my use and it's been proven. It did everything it said and followed all my rules I've created. Please, take the time to read & understand the system's function. Learn to navigate around and especially don't be in a hurry when learning your security system.
Trust me it works better than you think.
I use the camera mainly for watching our son in our living room while I put our daughter to sleep upstairs. It's great for that reason but the app is so slow and is constantly disconnecting. There have been a few times when I'm home alone at night with the kids and have wanted to see downstairs but the camera either won't load or takes an extremely long time. I truly hope that this is eventually resolved as I love everything else about this system.
