Hey Comcast....

Get your crap together! I used to love this app until recently big issues! Commercials, where to begin.... I don't want to continuously repeat what others are saying in the following reviews. But the commercials seem to be longer and with the apps bugs in freezing all the time then I have to quit it to restart it because it won't play and I have a repeat of commercials. I'm not sure if the freezing is due to the app or if it is a problem with my Internet speed either way it's Comcast's problem. Recently contacted them about our Internet speed because we pay for the "highest level" but are very laggy and after being transferred to three different departments he had to speak to someone he could not understand because of their accent and they came up with the solution to be we needed to get our computer fixed even though it is all 3 of our computers. To pay such a hefty price for Internet and cable and to get crappy service I think we all need to band together maybe they will have to do something. Unfortunately there is no other provider in our service area, trust me I have checked!

How do I truly rate Comcast? It's like going to an ice cream parlor and asking for a ice cream cone and getting handed a bowl of melted ice cream, and then being charged triple for it. Unfortunately with Comcast I don't have a choice not to order the ice cream. So to all of my Comcast comrades grab a straw it looks like it's going to be melted Sunday, kind of Tuesday. 😔

TV on the go??

The app is very convenient and comes in handy I'm my off days and when I've missed The Walking Dead.
I would give this app a 5 star rating but seriously what's with the ads????? I can understand that they want/need to make they're money but come on! It took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to watch The Walking Dead! A 53 minute show. Why can't they just show the same exact rerun from the regular time on Sunday?? I don't recommend anyone watch a long TV series. Every time I clicked my home button either to reply to a text or make a phone call. It would start over the ad time again and again even if I was in the middle of the ad!! Each ad is 3-4 mins long so for example if I was 2 mins into the ad and I clicked the home button on my iPhone to reply to a text then went back into the xfinity app it would start over the ads again. And what's really unfair is when ur in the middle of watching the show and you answer a phone call it starts the ads all over again!!! When I started writing this review I initially gave it 3 stars but the more and more I think about it it doubled the regular show time!!! Seriously????!

It's nice to watch the show occasionally between all the ads

The app is poorly written and tends to show too many ads. I'll explain. The moment you start watching a show you might see some ads. Then if after only two seconds of watching you immediately skip ahead in the show you will again endure more ads before you can see the show. Why is this such an annoyance? Because if you have both an iPhone and an iPad and use both devices to watch shows, this app will not sync or remember where you left off from one device to another. If you start watching a show on your iPhone and then decide to continue watching that same show on your iPad, the app doesn't offer you the option to resume watching on your iPad. That's why you need to skip ahead in the show to figure out where you left off. And that's when all the annoying ads appear every five seconds. The app needs to be smart enough to: 1. Remember where you left off across all your devices and 2. Remember that you just watched 2 minutes of ads and not immediate play more ads within 10 seconds just because you skipped ahead.
