The Lantronix xPrintServer app is the perfect diagnostics and troubleshooting companion for your award-winning, patent-pending xPrintServer - the industry’s first and only hardware device for iOS printing. Whether you need iPad printing, iPhone printing, or iPod Touch printing, xPrintServer is the only product you’ll need. No software to download, no need to buy a new AirPrint printer. We support more than 4,000 legacy and new printer models, from all leading manufacturers. Simply open the box, plug in the xPrintServer, and print.
The xPrintServer app expands upon the xPrintServer’s current built-in diagnostics. It enables users to locate and manage all of their xPrintServers, as well as provide a quick and easy view of any or all xPrintServer(s) configuration. Additionally, users can then test network speed, view a list of printers, monitor print jobs, view log files, and submit diagnostic reports either to Lantronix directly or via email to other users.
This is not a printing app - it is a diagnostics app for use with the Lantronix xPrintServer. Visit www.xPrintServer.com for more information on how to buy an xPrintServer today!

Not reliable long term
This app is designed to work with the xprintserver hardware that you have plugged into you LAN. That hardware acts as an iOS capable printer and bridges the iOS print interface to you LAN connected printer. There is simple, implementation is flakey.
In my experience with a Xerox color laser postscript printer on my LAN is that the xprintserver has frequent problems seeing the printer on the network( even though I can contact the printers direct web interface just fine from my phone) OR the phone cannot see the xprintserver ( even though I have network connectivity).
Something is dropping/loosing/failing to talk and the end effect is that I might as well not have this device. It isn't reliable as a solution. I can print from my computer 100% of the time while xprintserver server works for 39% of the time for reasons I cannot figure out. Having to reboot all of my network gear and printer without knowing what might fix the issue is not a solution.
I just had my Xerox print its configure page via safari but xprintserver cannot see the printer is there.
Print from anywhere
This app is awesome. It allows you to search networks for iOS friendly printers.....
