Clunky format

After a couple hours spent with AppleCare attempting to restore incoming mail on the iPad Apple mail app, the tech mentioned that one fix would be to download the Yahoo app if I did not wish to reset the iPad to factory settings and reinstall software/settings. I see from reviews that other Yahoo users have had the same issue of email no longer coming in, thus resorting to acquiring the Yahoo app to continue receiving email.

The mail format is visually cluttered with ads and I have not found much in the Settings to make the app more like what I enjoyed in using the iPad mail app. The layout of email threads is confusing. I do like the capability of marking email as Spam, but I did not immediately recognize the icon's function as a Spam-marking feature.

And now I must jump between apps to read email from my other Yahoo account (which is still working fine) rather than having accessibility to both in the same app. I suppose I could move the other email account into the newly downloaded Yahoo, but I won't because there is not the ease of handling mail in Yahoo's app. I am hoping the next upgrade will have fixes to the issues noted in other reviews of dissatisfied users...or that Yahoo's server can restore the settings for incoming mail via the Apple Mail app so that I may go back to what I prefer with my primary email account.

Annoying App

The only reason I downloaded this app is because my yahoo mail has stopped coming into my apple mail app twice (yahoo server issues apparently). I've had it with this app and have just about had it with yahoo mail altogether. The advertisements on the app and desktop take up too much space. The way that the app shows you email conversations is confusing. There is no easy way to delete emails (like the apple mail app). You can't adjust settings to fit your needs, etc. I could go on.... Yahoo needs some major changes soon if they want to keep app users and for that matter, email users.

Buggier than ever!

Yet again, Yahoo managed to introduce more annoying bugs with an update. Now when I am reading an email and want to delete it, I hit the trash icon (which they moved from the convenient location at the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen for some reason) and the same email is displayed again. I hit the trash icon again, and the email finally gets deleted. However, instead of going to the next email in the list, it goes backwards to the previous read email. Maddening!! I tried deleting and reinstalling the app on my iPhone 5 - no help.
