Yatzy is one of those strange addictions that is better experienced than explained. It's hard to discover what makes rolling those dice over and over again so fun, but it's beyond delight when you finally see those sixes line up.

Yatzy is a simple brain game that trains analytical thinking. It's a classic dice game.

The objective of Yatzy is to score the highest possible score within the 13 rounds of the game. Players roll five dice in order to make the desired combinations, which have different fixed or variable point values. The results of each turn are recorded on a special score sheet.

Yatzy is played with five dice. This popular game, lasts for 13 rounds as the players roll the dice and attempt to complete various combinations. The rules of yatzy are simple, and the game remains popular among people of all ages. Simply roll the dice, make your choices and score some points. At the end of the 13 turns, the player with the highest point total wins the game

Do the best dice combination in the this multiplayer Yatzy game. Half of the fun of this game is to yell out the game's name if and when you roll one. A Yahtzee occurs when a player rolls and all five dice are the same number. Rolling five "sixes" is the best roll in the game.

Special Yatzy rule is, the first time you get a yatzy in a game it is worth 50 points (if you use it in the yatzy slot). If you roll another yahtzee after you have already got the 50 points (i.e., you didn’t take a zero), you will get a 100 point bonus.

The Yatzy scorecard contains 13 scoring boxes divided between two sections:
1) Upper section
2) Lower section

It is a game of great chance, luck and also of smart thinking and strategy. If you are a Yatzy addict then this is the best game for you.

Download and play Yatzy and enjoy all the fun strategy elements that come along with this classic dice game.

Not Impressed

I was very disappointed to find out I was playing against other players on line. Half of them don’t know how to play, they take forever to make their move, or they quit as soon as the game isn’t going their way. I’ve also noticed numerous times that they throw the dice and even though they don’t get, say a full house that’s what they take credit for. I don’t understand that, since I have never had the ability to take credit for something I didn’t throw. I would much rather play on my own or against the computer then real people. It’s very frustrating!!

I also agree with the rating below on where the final pop-up is displayed. You don’t get to look over the score card at the end of the game because it covers it. I tried to change my photo but I’m stuck with one I don’t like. I guess you don’t have a choice in what you look like in this game. I get the impression that this game only has like 4 different photo’s, because you play against the same faces over and over.

Online game played against real people

I was surprised, nay shocked, to see that I was playing against other players online, rather than just playing against my computer. Because you can *only* play against people online, you run the risk of your opponent just bailing out before the game finishes. More than once I’ve rolled a Yatzy and the other player immediately quits. Humans can be poor sports.
The game creators asked for feedback:
I wish the game would keep a tally of my scores, and whether or not that game was a win or a loss. It would be fun to look over the history.
I notice my opponents have photos, by my “photo” is just a placeholder. Do my opponents see a photo of me? If so, where is that pulled from? My Mac sign-in photo? My iCloud profile photo?
The final pop-up (You won or lost) covers part of the scorecard. Did I get the Bonus for the Top section? Maybe, but I can’t tell because it’s covered and there is no way to move the pop-up. I’d make the pop-up smaller and move it to the right (over the dice).

Yatzy- poor

have been playing a few months! The game is malfuntioning in that I only see the die that will roll, but no score pad at all! There is no way to report this, or reload, and it does not seem to need an update; but of course it really does! And true that other players just leave when score not going their way!
