Excellent for everyone - including beginners and seniors
The morning routine is about 23 min. I feel so much better when I do it before I get out of bed, that I set it to wake me 25 min. before I need to get up - every day of every week! I'm over 60, and just started yoga a few months ago. This app is excellent for releasing any aches, and you don't have to be familiar with yoga to use it. Johnna's instructions are clear and easy to follow - yet I'd bet even experienced yogis would find it a wonderful app! The guided healing visualization is wonderful for bedtime relaxation, promoting both rejuvenating meditation and/or deep sleep. I've bought several yoga apps, and each is useful in its own way. But this is my favorite, and the one I use the most. Even on the days I have hour long yoga classes, I still do the morning routine.
I was looking for a easy yoga routine too help me go to sleep & also wake up . I tried the night part and it was most helpful, I fell asleep quickly. So I set it up for the morning and that was helpful too but I think this app would be more enjoyable if you had more time. It is just way too long. If you don't have any where to be that morning. Then I would say the morning routine is helpful. Also I felt the music was just making me sleepy. I think the morning routine music needs to be a bit more up lifting.
Love this app
I really love this app, but I have 3 suggestions. Your am yoga music makes me want to go back to sleep, instead of awakening. Need something more energetic. If you added a pm yoga with the music in this one, I would pay for it. Just please add some back stretches in place of the excessive rolling from side to side. Back problems afflict a large percentage of the population and this has no cobra, cat or cow that could help us sufferers and protect healthy backs.
