Far Sweeter Than 299 Pennies in My Pocket
This is an amazing app, developed with deep love, commitment, passion, and wisdom. Darren Rhodes and Yoga Oasis hold a sweet spot in my heart. Now, I am blessed that I can practice with him whether near or far from Tucson. The flow is perfectly challenging, the instructions are succinct, and the words of wisdom are sweet. I love that you can turn the instructions off or on, and that you can change the background music to an invigorating or chill vibe. I have the YogaHour CD, which I love, but this app puts the cherry on top! Thank you so much!
Fantastic Yoga App..
This is a strong, clear, concise yoga practice.. and a really good app.
There is a corresponding image that appears on your phone applying to each body of instructions. I've never seen an application like that..
The images are perfectly easy to follow, as are the instructions.. so you can decide that you're going to practice with the audio and simply not look at the phone, or turn the volume off and just follow the images. that was an awesome idea.. you can also turn off the instructions and just hear the names of the poses.. there's also 2 different music choices, along with the option to have no music at all..
The alignment details are super helpful, and the moments of inspirational guidance are really sweet.
i TOTALLY recommend this yoga application..
I really enjoyed practicing to this class. It's a fairly fast paced practice that covers a lot of poses in an hour. Heavy on standing poses: which nicely builds heat & strength & opens major muscle groups. Good verbal cues, some alignment advice (though since the class is more quickly paced not a whole lot) & some inspirational thoughts. The visuals of Darren demonstrating the poses are awesome, you can tell he has been practicing yoga asana with emphasis on alignment for a long time. Definitely recommend.
