Glitches should have been fixed by now but aren't

This seems to be a very popular app and for good reason: it's beautiful, sleek, and helps you enjoy cooking and eating. But as other reviewers have mentioned, there are two troubling problems. If your phone locks in the middle of cooking a recipe, the app reverts back to the home screen and you have to slowly navigate through several screens to get back to your place. Also, the favorites/Yums list does not refresh with newly added Yums until you log out (disconnect) and log back in again. In fact, this is the official advice I received when I contacted them for help. I will say their response was very fast. In fact you will notice the number of your Yums (favorites) is correct and if you happen to remember (I usually don't) the recipe name, you can get to it by searching within your Yums, but the title won't actually display in the overall list. For an app this popular and so often included in "best of" lists, I don't understand why they haven't fixed these glitches yet. I hope they do.

Love this App, Need Minor improvements though.

Love this App it's filled with great recipes, but there are some really annoy little glitches with the app, like the triple refresh of your personalized Yums list when you start up the app. Or like when you have a recipe open on your phone & you leave it for 2 minutes & your phone locks up & you unlock it to go to look at the next step & the app restarts all the way to the home menu & you have to go search for them recipe your using again that's annoying!! Also there is this glitch where Yums that you have saved don't show up, & when you save you Yums to a new collection, & some of the Yums will show up in the wrong collection. Just minor annoying little problems, nothing that dilutes the greatness of this app

Crappy built-in browser

I love the access to various recipes-let me say that right off the bat.

But I'm using this on my phone. I want my information concise and easy to navigate when it comes to the directions tab within the three tabs available when you click on a recipe.

There's nutritional value, which is easy and quick to read and identify all relevant information. Same with the ingredients tab. This is incredibly useful and helpful when trying to quickly track down ingredients in the grocery store, or fire multiple meal parts at once as I used to when I worked restaurants.

But then, when I click the "directions" tab, I get this crappy, built in browser experience where I have to read a magazine article to get to the information I need. Even that's not bad, except I consistently get pop-up and pop-under adverts when using the Reader function to bypass those ads.

I get that this is mainly due to the sites that are linked to, and that's more or less out of Yummly's control, but they need to find a way to condense the article to simple, bullet point style directions. I don't want to read an article to get my recipe directions. I didn't have to for the ingredients or nutrition values. I shouldn't have to do it for the last leg of my culinary adventure.

Let me see my information clearly and concisely and without adverts.
