Does not say recipes for me.

JaneEyre628

I installed this app three months ago on my iPhone 7 Plus, I have updated my operating system’s to the most current update on the operating system for the iPhone. Ever since I downloaded this app, even today, it will not save recipes for me I keep getting the error message “we are experiencing problems saving your recipe right now please try again later” I press OK , try save it again and keep getting the same error message over and over and over. Seriously Yummly/Yum app developers, what’s up? I have even uninstalled this app and reinstalled it three times and it still keeps doing the same thing. Ugh! 👎🏼
Meanwhile, I use the Yum/Yummly app on my desktop computer and it works fine. So I can save recipes there, but how much easier it is to do on my Iphone when I am surfing food blogs and looking for recipes.

Best app I’ve used for recipes

I just downloaded this app and it honestly makes searching for healthy and delicious recipes SO easy. It’s fun and easy to use. Not only is there so much variety but I love that it caters specifically to your needs, from selecting your allergies to selecting what dietary plan you have in mind. I would however love to see more videos on how these recipes are made. I still enjoy reading the articles on how these meals are made step by step but it sometimes makes it more fun and feels easier to make the recipe when you follow a video. Other than that, I’m very excited to continue to use this app to make some delicious meals.

Great variety, great replacement for old app

I had been using Ziplist. For a couple of years. When they closed I was crushed. I was able to save all the recipes I had saved but now where do I get new ones? Well Ziplist made a reference to another app but it did not have all the same features Ziplist had.

After doing months of research and spending money for other apps that did not have the features I wanted either.

Then I found Yummly, it has the ability to "clip" recipes, save them to the cloud, access from any device, create shopping lists. The ONLY 2 things it doesn't have or I haven't found.... It won't allow me to print the shopping list directly from the app. or from my computers. As a work around I email it to my self and then print it. Also I can't "import" recipes that I already have from Ziplist or my personal collection.

I will also add that almost all of the recipes from Ziplist I found here as well.

Developer Response

Hello Mtymedic,

Thank you for giving Yummly a try - we're so glad you like the app!

RE: your printing of the Shopping List - you CAN do it by following these steps:
1) Open Shopping List
2) Tap on the Sharing Icon int he upper Left corner
3) Choose "Print" to spool directly to printer
