Ratings and Reviews

Not sure who this is for

Gramsterix

From other reviews it looks like this doesn’t work well for near continuous backups. I tried using it for nightly backups, but it won’t wake from sleep, so it doesn’t work for me for that either. Plus the UI is pretty bad, and it doesn’t seem to have any logs of activity. Don’t bother.

Developer Response

To answer the question in the title: Lots of happy customers using this day in day out for automation, so I guess it's mainly for those people :) A scheduled task should prevent sleep, unless you manually set the Mac to sleep, or you set a schedule set to sleep. UI update is coming soon, but logging is definitely there in Preferences -> Transfers -> Logging. If you need some help please feel free to email me : support@yummysoftware.com

Not bad (UPDATED)

Dan Giulvezan

When it works it does a good but, but it likes to crash a lot, by a lot I mean I see it crash four or so times a day. Would be nice if it was updated for Retina support too, but all in all not bad for $5.

UPDATE: Wow, very responsive developers! They have a newer build of the app that's making it's way through the app review process that addresses the things I mentioned in my review. I was able to try that build out and it fixes the crash problem AND adds Retina support! Score! Great value for $5, adjust my rating from 3 to 5 stars.

very limited

With no documentation your left on your own to figure this program out. LIke what is the difference between auto upload and sync? who knows.

If you use large files it will start a scan again and get totally confused as it trys to start a new sync, or auto upload or who knows. after awhile it will have 4 or 5 jobs running all conflicting with each other, killing your bandwidth and getting nothing done.

Program also deletes files on the destination randomly and starts a sync, or ??? all over again and tryst to re-upload the files. again..
