Version History
4.4.1
Lots of small bug fixes and UI updates.
4.4
- We released a new and improved search experience! - We also fixed a bunch of bugs and made some behind-the-scenes improvements, too. *********** Here is a possible conversation that happened at Zazzle HQ prior to the release of Zazzle iOS 4.4:
**Scene: The mobile app team is crowded around the coffee maker on a Thursday morning, trying to wake up.**
"Guys, I can't filter my search results in the mobile app!" our CEO Robert says.
"Oh noes, that's not good," Haitao - lead mobile engineer says says whilst yawning.
"We need to update our search experience," Irena says. "It will be so much better."
"But how?" Derek our esteemed mobile intern inquires while adding four packets of splenda into his coffee.
"React Native, young padawan" Scott, QA engineer says while stirring a wooden stick into an ocean of brown liquid.
"It'll have more robust filters and categories," Tony says -- his eyes wide open in a delusional haze. He is on his fourth cup of coffee this morning. "We could even tell you what's on sale by special callouts in the search results."
His phone gripped tightly, Robert (the CEO) chimes in: "Okay. Whatever you guys do, please make it better. Filtering through 44,827 results of funny cat shirts is making my life miserable."
"Why do you need a funny cat shirt?" asks Sean. "Don't you have, like, 3 of those?"
"Just please make search better!" Robert says while backing up slowly, then rounding the corner into the hallway.
Everyone nods in agreement and sips their coffee in unison.
**end scene**

-- Here is a possible conversation that happened at Zazzle HQ leading up to the launch of Zazzle 4.0:
Sean, the mobile app product manager, bursts into the meeting room full of mobile engineers: "GUYS! We really need to fix our design experience on our mobile app. It's super old and a little weird to use. We could do better!"
Ethan, the mobile app lead chewing on a Cobb salad, chirps up: "Yeah! Let's redesign it. Maybe we can start after volleyball practice?"
"I'm up for the challenge!" breakdancing Brian trumps. "Hey, what's for dinner tonight?"
While peering at Brian through his Snapchat Spectacles, Munaz, our illustrious Canadian intern answered, "I think they're serving build your own Bimbimbap Bowls." Munaz continued, "Sean what are you thinking for this feature?"
Fidgeting with his glasses and scarf, Sean answered: "Well, it's gotta be simple. It's gotta be way easier than our current tool, and familiar to our desktop experience. If we improve the design experience, we'll have a bunch more people making custom products on our mobile app -- just in time for the holidays."
Everyone is nodding in agreement.
"I think we could do it by Black Friday," starts Brian.
"How about Canada Day?" adds Munaz aka. Gangsta Munz.
"That might be too aggressive, Munz.... But I'm pretty sure we can do it by Labor Day," Ethan says while poking a tomato in his salad. "Consider it done."
"You know what would be really cool? I mean, REALLY COOL?" Parker says while stroking his glorious beard. "We should build this whole thing in React Native."
Confused faces and whispers of "What's React Native?" filled the room.
"Eh, it doesn't matter what it is," Petar says while emerging from the dark corner of the room. "Math."
"Oooooh," everyone said in unison. Smiles were draped across everyone's faces. It turns out math is the glue that binds us all.
What followed was a series of many white boarding sessions, lines of code, and Build Your Own Bimbimbap Bowls.

3.4.5
We have a few small changes in store for Zazzle iOS 3.4.5
- Remember that big "Z" button that was at the bottom of the navigation bar that launched Zazzle Express? Well, apparently some users didn't realize that was a button. Doh! We updated the experience here: Instead of the Big Z button, we replaced it with a very fast looking lightning bolt button.Tapping the lightning bolt button will still launch the Zazzle Express you know and love, but now it's just a tiny bit easier to find.
- We also fixed a bug that prevented our email subscribers from deep-linking into our mobile app. Sorry about that! Now when you tap on links from Zazzle emails, we'll open the right link within our mobile app if you have it installed.

3.4.2
A possible conversation that happened at Zazzle HQ leading up to the release of iOS 3.4.2:
"Hey guys, we should really fix up our search experience."
"What's wrong with it? No one really complained."
"Well... trending and recent search results looked like they were floating on the page without any structure. We can do even better."
"Yeahh, I get it. Let's get our new intern, Munaz, to fix it! What else do we need to fix?"
"Hmm. Well, you know that Order History update that we shipped a few days ago?"
"Yeah.... ??"
"Well, there was a little bug that showed when you had an Order with multiple package. It's no big deal, but we really should fix it."
"Consider it done."
"One more thing..."
"Shoot."
"So we shipped that Earnings App last week too, remember that?"
"Ah yes, how's that working out?"
"Pretty good! I think we need to add a quick little link on the profile page where the Earnings button used to be so we don't catch too many Designers off guard when we let them know we have a shiny new Earnings App!"
"You got it!"

It’s ok
@inlovewith_myself
The app is ok , I used it to make business cards. I liked using the website on a computer it’s easier to edit or create a design. The design I chose came out smaller than I wanted it. The cards I received look a little used. I’m assuming whoever handled these cards didn’t handle them with care, some of the corners and edges are bent and have scratch marks on them. There’s some cards that have white spots from the printer. I don’t think I can even present these cards anywhere. Going to figure out if I can return them or I’ll probably just order somewhere else. My total was $30 thank god it didn’t cost me more. *Update* I emailed Zazzle and no response. I keep trying to submit a review on their app and it will not let me. I’m giving them 1 star so that’s probably why it won’t let me submit my review... don’t order from this website!!

I love using Zazzle on a PC, but the app is horrible. Most recently I had issues where the total owed on my cart was inexplicably about double what it should be. I contacted tech support using the app, attaching screen shots. They responded by saying they didn’t get the attachments. I let them know that is another issue with the app because I had used the app’s function to attach. They ignored that part and ignored the additional issue I had raised that the promotional alert screen doesn’t work. I used a PC to send screen shots. They responded to the issue of the inaccurate amount being charged by saying they’d contact another tech support team and I should just use a PC. Long story short - app has weird glitches (including one that tries to charge too much) and tech support is frustrating. I still love Zazzle on the PC.

Zazzle is my go to for gifts, party favors and my office

Zazzle has been a home run for me since 2014 - and the app makes it even easier! I’ve made logo items for my office by transferring my logo from Dropbox to my photos. I made gifts for friends by saving photos from Instagram, Facebook and google chrome on my phone and uploading to Zazzle. And the customization tools are easy to use.
The only thing I couldn’t figure out on the app was getting Zazzle black - I had to go through customer service and the website for that. Zazzle Black should pop up as an option w shipping on the app.
