ZENDA, Speak to characters, respond to their text and questions, use the keyboard to interact with them, grab the sword and take on the monsters head to head, collect coins and advance to the next level.
This is NOT Zelda.
... That's all I can say. Whoever wants to see what kind of app this is, download it by all means. It's glitchy, not even a real game, and probably never will be. (walk through walls glitch: pay the farmer 10 coins, go into the area, walk on top of the tree to the left (the lite green one) and then you will disappear, never to find your way back.)
Just download it, but don't expect the REAL Legend of Zelda game. It's a spin-off, and nothing more.
I have to give the developer credit for putting a good 24 hours into this app, so I'm giving it 4 stars: one for effort, one for...a start, one for keeping it on the app store, (because it IS similar to the Legend of Zelda) and one for defeating Nintendo's "copyright." Take a look at all the Pokèmon and Mario clones on the app store. And take a look at how Apple has ruined our app-buying days by taking away emulators.
This game actually had me laughing. Watched a video on ign and thought maybe for them it just glitches out so for a free app, why not give it a chance. Well they did break it and so did I. After killing the second and last enemy on the tiny little map, jink decided he was gonna keep swiping his sword even if I didn't tell him. The npc's don't say anything different than what the first told you and there is even a very pointless bridge. Oh and I thought I found the way to a new map but it turns out its just another glitch. After giving the guy 10 coin run up by the right side of his house and keep going up into the tree and there is a way to get off the map... But it really does nothing. It took just as long to download this as it did to play through it... If you want a good laugh go ahead but don't expect anymore than 5 min. If your life wasted.
Devs Read- LOTS O POTENTIAL
I honestly liked this. I think it has plenty of potential as a real game. It's short, but its so similar to Zelda that it's fair if the game devs didn't want to anger to copyright overlords. I liked the game! I think it should be grown and enjoyed! I know there are glitches, but what game DOESNT have glitches? I think after you finish everything in the start, point the player to the open world to progress the story. A second level could be completely devoted to storytelling if you want! But I think a update every 2 or 3 weeks. Game developers, if you read this, PLEASE KEEP WORKING ON THIS! It has so much potential as a good game!
