Great game. One of the best RPGs on the app store. Totally worth $1.
Here's some tips:
1) CHOOSE PALADIN CLASS 1st time you play. It has 2 healing skills, which are very helpful. Also, it's skills are balanced. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE ASSASSINS SPEED. It may be able to land 2 hits in the time a Paladin could land one, but the Assassin no healing skills, which means you'll get stuck very easily on the first dungeon. If each class was a different difficulty, Paladin would be normal, Warrior would be medium-hard, and Assassin would be hard/expert.
2) #1 priority when buying stuff is Origins of Life. They are very helpful. Avoid buying equipment unless you can't find anything better from enemies.
(enemies' drops are usually better than the equipment you can buy).
Unfortunately, this game includes lots of grinding. However, it isn't as boring as grinding in other games.
I see lots of reviews where people say that ads keep blocking the continue button. THERE IS AN X BUTTON on the upper-right corner.
Overall, Zenonia is one of the best apps I have ever played. Also, it is available on DSiWare/Nintendo eShop for about $9 (not a waste; they fixed most typos and edited out most of the bad language), so if you have a DSi or 3DS, you should get it on there.
The review should say it all... That and it won't let me submit the full review, so...
Now, be aware that I have played only this and the dsiware version. While that was significant to introducing me to the game as a whole, it's the iOS version I'm (mostly, if not entirely) focusing on. Zenonia starts with a long cutscene that, while you can skip it, gives you a backstory on the game's events (and a good one at that) up to until you take control of the main character. Anyways, the game begins at a battle in a war pitting the holy knights vs. the demon clan. Near the end of the battle, Dupre finds a baby abandoned by...none other than vicious, which I guess is either... A general or leader of the "demon clan" (sorry, can't help you out there) years later (aka the beginning of the actual game) well... Haven't I spoiled enough of the storyline for you guys? So getting past the storyline for now, the main "joypad" control scheme...well... It felt kind of clunky. For one thing, it doesn't help that when I press a direction on the "joypad" it would take a while to get my main character going the i right way after going a whole 'nother direction I did not intend to go. This might be the sort of thing that people who play the game on iPhone/iPod might experience, but honestly, I never tested that out on an iPad, so I'd have no idea.
