Good, stable full function bank app.

This app is for Zions Bank account holders. Instantly see your account balance, deposit checks (certain limitations and restrictions apply) with your camera, pay bills and make transfers between Zions internal bank accounts and even with external accounts.
I have been a Zions customer for more than fifteen years. It has been such a terrific bank that even though I moved east (for my job) and the nearest bank location is now more than 800 miles away I have continued banking with Zions. This app is almost like having a local bank branch in my pocket.
Every function simply works and very easy to use, with functions grouped intuitively. However, my only dislike is that some of the navigation labels leave a little to be desired. Once you have used the app a little bit navigating around inside the app is easy and natural. As I said using a function in the app is easy, finding the functionality in the app can be difficult until you have used the app a few times and become familiar with it.

Great app, annoying glitches

The application has really awesome features and takes care of all my needs. I am able to easily and proactively monitor and manage my accounts exactly as I prefer. However, it kicks me out often. It also never recognizes my thumbprint and will not save settings to unlock/open/log in. I have no trouble with this on other apps on my phone. Logging in is my biggest issue with the app because it glitches out and will not consistently let me into my accounts.

The app is easy to navigate. The app is accurate with my bank statement and account information. It always saved me a trip to the bank- easy to manage money with my phone.

Needs improvement!

I’ve been a Zions Bank customer for 20+ years. The problems I’ve had with this app have made me consider switching banks due to the frequency in which I use it.

The system logs me out for no reason even when I select save my User ID, then locks me out after I enter the correct information and password. Making it so I have to call customer service to get logged on again.

In addition, I just upgraded to the iPhone 8 Plus and was told the system settings for allowing Touch ID are not available for this phone yet. It’s been a while since Apple has announced the release of this phone so I thought Zions would have been prepared for this. It’s very inconvenient to have to manually log in every time, especially when it doesn’t save my user ID, then when it locks me out I have to call to get it reset.

And finally, I’ve been trying to set up paperless statements for a long time. I went into a branch and they couldn’t help me. The app doesn’t allow for this either. I’m not sure why the technology side of this business is so lagging but I’m considering a change.

We regret hearing that you are having trouble using our app. Please try to uninstall and reinstall the App from the app store. We are adding a Password Reset option to Mobile Banking later this month. To ensure your User ID is being saved, make sure you select 'Save my User ID' and click 'Sign Off' when you are finished in Mobile Banking to close your session. Touch ID can be set up under the 'More' menu and then click on 'Settings'. To set up paperless statements, please log into Online Banking and click on 'eStatements' under the 'Accounts' tab. You can view your statements and tax documents in Mobile Banking under the 'More' menu and then clicking 'eDocuments'.
