Description

ZipThat opens up a whole new world to you while using your iPad/iPhone! Before ZipThat, there was no way to open up zip files on your iPad/iPhone. This limitation has been shattered with this new utility app for the iPad/iPhone. No longer do you have to wait until you're at a desktop computer to view contents of zip files, or suffer through long downloads because you can't receive and open zipped files on your iPad/iPhone.

ZipThat works invisibly in the background... When you receive a zipped file via email or even IM, tapping and holding on it will cause the helpful "Open in ZipThat" menu to appear. Simply tap on it and the file will be unzipped and placed in a list of unzipped files for you to view. Tapping on a file will cause that file to be opened on your iPad. Whether it's a supported graphic file like JPG or GIF, an HTML file or a PDF, ZipThat allows you to view them all right from your iPad/iPhone!

ZipThat even supports password-protected zip files!

ZipThat is now also a zipThat a generic file viewer/reader for most commonly emailed file types including:

PDF Document
HTML Document
PowerPoint Document (PPT)
Excel Document (XLS)
Word Document (DOC)
Text Document (TXT)
M4A Audio
3GP Movie
MP4 Movie
MP3 Audio
MOV Movie
JPEG Picture
GIF Picture
PNG Picture
and many more...

Customer Reviews

Disappointing

This app can view archives and the documents inside them, and email contents.

Sadly, the email only half-works and what's missing is the ability to open the archive contents in other applications, such as PDF.

Not enough here to justify a purchase, you're better off downloading Filer, which is what I did.

Offers no real utility

This app advertises at password protected zip files can be opened, but I've had no success. Contacting support is a joke. There appears to be no email, just a support site that doesn't seen to have any FAQs or anything for this app. I want a refund, or at least contact from the support team.

Useless

I bought this app to try to open mail attachments. It doesn't work. At all. Installed, followed the instructions, uninstalled, reinstalled, even uninstalled other apps that I thought might be conflicting with it, and nothing. No zipped attachments ever opened. Save yourself the dollar.
