Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Zone is a menubar time tracker.
Projects: Add projects, use colors.
Reports: Select days, see a graph and a table.
Export: Select projects, time range and get a CSV.
Break timer: Whenever you stop tracking, you can set a break timer that will remind you to get back to work.
What's New in Version 2.0.2
- Fixing a bug where creating new Zone via keyboard shortcut would create it twice and then when you deleted one, both were gone
Good start, make it better please
It’s a finely built app, has some small minor enhancements, needed though.
A few enhancements I need:
-When it gives the push notification that reminds you that break is over, can you also add a loud alarm-clock-like sound playing? I might be drowsing off in the break, so the loud ring would help.
-Sync with the Calendar app on the Mac, very efficient
-iOS App sync better
Otherwise, great app!
How my feelings changed from love to hate
At first I felt like that's exactly what I need and I was very pleased with what I saw.
But when I tried to actually use it I found a lot of bugs that I filed to the developer and had no reply at all.
Along with the bugs I asked for a small feature to allow optional showing of the total time for the day in the menubar near the icon and as I said I got no reply.
The app is unusable for me in it's current state.
And it would be OK for me if the developer would've at least said something like "Sorry, I think this feature is redundant" or something like that but I got nothing and now you have 1 star from me.
The UI and functions are great. However, there’s a lack of stopping the project, so far I can only have a break instead. And it won’t let me delete any of the data the app recorded, even if those are redundant datas. Won’t recommand anyone buy this app until it is polished.
