Description

A simple application to see Local and Zulu time (GMT) or multiple time zones in a single glance. Useful for pilots in getting weather briefings and filing flight plans, or Ham radio operators to do timezone conversions. No more worrying about getting the timezone offset correct or Daylight Savings Time conversions. Easily convert from different time zones, including times in the future or past.

On the iPhone:

- The Zulu Time page gives a quick view of both Zulu and Local times

- The Offset Time page allows you to see Zulu and local time either in the future or past by entering an offset via the Offset button. Tapping either Zulu or Local times will allow you to enter a time in the future or past, synchronizing both Local and Zulu times with that offset. The offset only applies to this view (except on the iPad the offset applies to everything on the page)

- The Multiple Zones page allows you to add as many time zones as you wish in a scrolling view. Clicking on any Time Zone will allow you to change it.

What's New

Version 3.0

- Apple Watch version! After many requests, This includes the ability to view Local Time, Zulu Time and set an offset to wee what those times are up to 24 hours in the future.
- Fixed a bug where some time zones that are less than one hour intervals (like Newfoundland) would display incorrectly.
- Fixed some layout ugliness on iPhone X in the Multiple Time view

Perfect!

Exactly what I was looking for. Can't beat the price at only $.99, and the visual presentation is excellent. Perfect app for pilots that travel in different time zones.

Needs to show time on app icon

Of raw

Needs to show Zulu time on app icon, without having to open the app.

Developer Response

I'd love to do this, it is a great idea, but unfortunately Apple does not provide a way to dynamically change an app's icon. Apple's own Clock app is a special case that developers have no ability to replicate. You can however hard press on the icon and it will pop up the home screen widget showing you Local and Zulu Time. Not as convenient but possibly more so than opening the app. Thanks for the suggestion though!
