100 Portraits

About 100 Portraits

Acoustic alternative CCM group 100 Portraits was led by singer/songwriter Ben Pasley, an Alabama native who in 1989 released an alternative country cassette titled When the Big Hand Meets the Small under the name the Sons of Men. After relocating to Texas, in 1993 he issued the first 100 Portraits release, a full-length video album titled Gallery; while on tour, Pasley met his future wife Robin Weisinger, who soon after joined 100 Portraits playing an African Djembe drum; as a duo, they recorded 1995's Time Will Be the Tell, followed two years later by Five Wise Virgins. ~ Jason Ankeny
