About Brandon Jarod

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories was listening to my dad play Parliament Funkadelic vinyls around the house and me playing air guitar with a baseball bat along with the music. I was probably five or six years old at the time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Radiohead, In Rainbows The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland I chose these three albums in particular because I feel like the sound that I'm going for would be an amalgamation of all three. I love the sonics, instrumentation and writing of all three. It was a toss between In Rainbows and Ok Computer. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Wish” I love this song because it was so different from anything else I had written up until that point or since actually. It's ambitious at over 7 minutes long and has some cool section changes. The song is special because it's about my sister. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career was when I first heard my song on a local radio station. Mainly because of how bad it sounded next to other "professional" songs. Yet and still it was mines and I will never forget that feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes I have a lot of things on my bucket list. Some of which being to produce and write for other artists. I want to have my compositions performed live by a full orchestra. I want to score for movies. I'd most of all like to build my own studio.
