Brian Burns, born and raised in Central Texas, has been regarded for many years as one of the premier songwriters and performers. Burns' influences include Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Marty Robbins. In 1997, the singer released his debut solo effort, Highways, Heartaches and Honky-Tonks followed by 1999's Angels & Outlaws.
