About Daniele Luppi

Daniele Luppi is a well-known Italian film composer as well as an arranger and producer of indie rock and electronic pop music, and is a recording artist in his own right. He first gained wide recognition with 2004's Italian Story, the first in a trilogy of albums conceptualized as aural love letters to the Italian cinema music and sonic effects that inspired him. Rome followed in 2011 and featured collaborations with close associate Danger Mouse, along with Jack White and Norah Jones. In 2017, he rounded out the project with Milano, which included contributions by Parquet Courts and Karen O. Along with Danger Mouse, Luppi has collaborated with Broken Bells, Soulsavers, John Legend, Dave Gahan, and others. He has also scored a bevy of film and TV projects, including 2007's Malos Hábitos (Bad Habits), 2014's Feriado, 2020's Tyger Tyger, and 2021's Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon.
