In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had just started in the front seat of my mom's Nissan Pathfinder. Early in the morning, she’d begin a ritual: remind me of my seatbelt, and play “CHER - BELIEVE.” Her playing this every day was a kind of hope and fun I started to really live in. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Post The 1975, The 1975 Tyler, The Creator, Wolf We’re obsessed with these albums and always have been. All of the elements are unrelenting and brutal. So intellectual but so rough around the edges; counter-culture chic. It literally informed us about the non-existing boundaries of pop music Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Heard You Had a Girlfriend” This song took a few different forms, even another title before it took the form it is now. Underneath the surface of it is a real story of longing and isolation. It’s special because that’s the human condition. I don't know, man. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After our sweaty, sold-out show in Dallas, Texas, we escaped to a restaurant to eat. We struck up conversation with a man. He starts asking about us and what we do- long story short he tells us his kids know who we are and he picks up our whole tab. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah, there’s a lot. We don’t want to give away all our plans right away but you’ll see them unfolding in the near future. There will soon be a day when you can’t look away; we’re already everywhere.
