About Debbie Reynolds
A popular actress and singer, Debbie Reynolds rose to fame in a series of Hollywood musical films during the '50s, most notably Three Little Words, Singin' in the Rain (perhaps her most memorable role), and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, for which she received an Oscar nomination. In 1951, Reynolds recorded her first million-selling single, "Abba Daba Honeymoon" (from the film Two Weeks with Love), and she topped the U.S. charts in 1957 with "Tammy" (from Tammy and the Bachelor). As her film career declined, she made an acclaimed Broadway debut in the 1973 revival of the much-loved musical Irene, and appeared in her own nightclub revue, headlining at venues such as Harrah's in Reno and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. ~ Rovi Staff
