My earliest musical memory is recording Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis game music onto cassette tapes off our console TV so I could listen to it whenever I wanted to. IAMX, The Alternative Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Radiohead, OK Computer All three of these albums taught me to better understand the allure of creative, unexpected songwriting and the power of texture, composition and instrumentation. Ryan Shuck)” This is one of the few songs I've written that ended up feeling/sounding just as I intended. I try to pull nostalgic sounds from decades ago and insert them into modern pop/rock/electronic songs, and I think this track embodies that intention.
