About Hundred Suns

Citing a diverse array of influences, including Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Chevelle, Canadian/American superstar progressive metal/alt-rock trio Hundred Suns were founded in 2011 around the talents of Norma Jean vocalist Cory Brandan, Every Time I Die drummer Ryan Leger, and Dead & Divine guitarist/vocalist Chris LeMasters. In 2016 Hundred Suns headed into the studio with producer/engineer Sam Guaiana (Like Pacific), vocal engineer/producer Jeremy S.H. Griffith (Norma Jean, Underoath), and producer/mixer (and Saosin guitarist) Beau Burchell (Blaqk Audio, the Bronx) to lay down tracks for their debut album. The resulting New Damage Records-issued Prestaliis arrived the following year, and featured the singles "Last Apology" and "Amaranthine." ~ James Christopher Monger
