About Little Boots

The alias of British electro-pop performer Victoria Hesketh, Little Boots began her professional music career as a member of the short-lived Dead Disco. In late 2008, she unveiled her first release, the Arecibo EP, featuring production by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, and the Bird and the Bee’s Greg Kurstin, which established her club-friendly sound and placed her in the company of lauded acts such as Goldfrapp and Annie. By 2009, Little Boots was the subject of significant buzz, between her slowly unveiled debut LP and sweetly cheeky web videos of sundry lo-fi dance covers of electro-indie hits.
