About Frankie Paul
One of dancehall reggae's most talented and successful exponents, Frankie Paul first came onto the scene in the early 1980s, when he was still a teenager. Working with artists like Sugar Minott and getting in on the ground floor of the dancehall explosion, he began a long string of hits, which included “Tidal Wave” “Worries in the Dance,” and “Cassanova” as well as a number of cover tunes. True to the title of his '94 album HARD WORK, he kept churning out chartmakers all the way into the next century, remaining one of the most prominent and respected figures in dancehall music.
