A progressive technical death metal outfit based out of Berlin, Germany, Ingurgitating Oblivion's eclectic compositional style, dizzying instrumentation, and labyrinthian sonic might invoke names like Deathspell Omega, Gorguts, and Ulcerate. Founded in 2001, the band issued a series of EPs, splits, and demos before releasing its full-length debut, Voyage Towards Abhorrence, in 2006 via Unmatched Brutality. The 2014 Continuum of Absence album saw the band ink a deal with Willowtip Records, which also put out Ingurgitating Oblivion's third studio long-player, 2017's epic Vision Wallows in Symphonies of Light. ~ James Christopher Monger
