My mother was my first piano teacher, and I remember (from a very early age) having to practice before I could go out and play. Why did you choose these three albums in particular? André Gagnon, Piano solitude Erroll Garner, Concert By the Sea (Remastered) Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Concert By the Sea was one of the first jazz albums I ever heard and it is still one of the happiest. Piano Solitude is so beautiful, peaceful, and musical it just knocks me out when I hear it. Kind of Blue is great playing, great songs--a classic! Tell us why you chose this song. “Sandra's Waltz” 'Sandra's Waltz' is the first song I wrote for my wife, and I realized then what an interesting problem it is to translate emotions into music. It's a simple melody, but I wanted it to be a pretty and memorable one. I hope you enjoy it.
