In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Mr Julz is a UK-based Afrobeats singer and music creator. Listening to Micheal Jackson and the likes of Sisqo, music was always a part of his childhood. On stage as young as 8 either dancing or singing. It was no secret he had a stage calling. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fabolous, Street Dreams Master KG, Jerusalema (feat. Burna Boy & Nomcebo Zikode) [Remix] - Single Sisqó, Unleash The Dragon In high school, after falling in love with rap and hip-hop music he started writing his own lyrics and experimenting in the studio. It was only after moving to the UK that he would find his sound to deliver songs like "Go Down" "Gandala" and more. Tell us why you chose this song. “Slow Down” Mr Julz named "artist to watch for" on BBC London 2022, has been delivering smashing club and radio savor tunes. Mr Julz hooks and catchy melodies sure leave you returning for more as he graces the UK music scene making his mark. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? "Go Down" one of his most successful songs blew out of the waters shortly after it was released. To this date, it still stands like a very solid sound that leaves you bouncing with energy. Mr Julz owns the stage whenever he steps on it with energy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? "My dream has always been to travel the world and as an artist, my music is like a gateway and another reason to go to new places. Afrobeats is what the world has been missing and I am grateful to be part of this new wave."
