Audiences in Germany, the U.S., and Canada have been treated to Katrin Endrikat's classical guitar playing. She first picked up the instrument at age nine and then attended Berlin's high school for musicians, the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Gymnasium. Her higher education was completed in Canada, Germany, and finally at Yale, where she earned her Master's of Music in Guitar Performance in 2014. Endrikat can count Dale Kavanagh and Thomas Kirchhoff among her teachers and mentors. She has won several music prizes and scholarships, and appeared at a number of festivals in Germany and the U.S., and in Peru. Endrikat has performed music by Bach, Lennox Berkeley, Rodrigo, Turina, Albéniz, Ponce, Tansman, and Konstantin Vassiliev, among others. ~ Patsy Morita
