La Puta Opepé

About La Puta Opepé

Spanish group La Puta Opepe burst into the local scene in the early '90s, performing a mixture of urban, hip-hop, and reggae. They recorded "Esplendor en la Yerba" and "La Gran L" before making their first album, Vacaciones en el Mar, released by Yo Gano Records in 1996. Two years later, La Puta Opepe recorded an EP called Batalla de Cazalla, followed by 2000's La Puta Opepe Presenta Cunaos del Fonk en Chanelance, released by Superego-Yo Gano. ~ Drago Bonacich
