In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I lived in Trinidad, my cousin used to get burned CDs of American music. I played them when she was at school , I wasn’t allowed to touch her things. I learned every Boyz II Men: Evolution song and singing along with her around the house. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Monica, The Boy Is Mine Toni Braxton, The Heat My top three favorite female singers. Tell us why you chose this song. “Silly Me” What makes this song special? This is the first song I have full writing credit on. It’s special because it’s the first song I’ve written alone and is a vulnerable reminder to hold myself accountable for some of my failures in love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would have to say opening up at SOBs in NYC was a memorable moment for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Bucket list I feel like has only scratched the surface. Super grateful to have opened at SOBs twice. That’s a memory I won’t forget.
