Manuel Vallejo

About Manuel Vallejo

Fine Sevillian-born flamenco singer who was very popular from the '20s to the '40s, making many recordings. He has a high voice, capable of generating much excitement, as on the soleares "Yo Voy Por El Calle Loco" or the bulerias "Fiesta Gitana," while capable of handling slower tempos with equal skill and drive. ~ John McCord, Roots & Rhythm
