In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up singing gospel and soul music in the Baptist church. That type of singing is what I do. Even though my songs are a fusion of pop, rock, singer/songwriter type stuff - I'm always going to attack the vocals as a soul singer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie Donald Fagen, Sunken Condos Tracy Chapman, Telling Stories I revisit these frequently. Buckingham/McVie was such an wonderful and unexpected off-shoot of the Fleetwood Mac realm. Tracy Chapman put out some of her best music in the early 2000s and Donald Fagen's best solo album is hands down, "Sunken Condos." Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gay and Proud” I’ve known I was gay since I was eight years old. Despite that, I never thought I’d be able to admit that to anyone, let alone publicly. "Gay and Proud" is my own coming out anthem. A song, a milestone - 20 years in the making! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening shows for Lisa Loeb, The Icarus Account, and Sasha Dobson Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The list is endless! For one, I'd love to record all my favorite Bill Withers songs and put that out. I'd also love to start a side project with other artists similar to Fleetwood Mac, case/lang/veirs, or Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.
