In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is at home on the farm with Mum teaching me how to play guitar. I was about 11 and we'd spend hours singing everything from the Carpenters and Pearl Jam to Dolly & Kenny. I'd always take the high harmony. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kasey Chambers, The Captain Shania Twain, Shania Twain: Greatest Hits Taylor Swift, Fearless (Taylor's Version) Kasey was a huge inspiration to me as a young girl growing up wanting to sing country music. 'Speak Now' was my first TS concert and this album shaped my songwriting style. Shania is the soundtrack to my childhood and this album is historic! Always moving the goal post to whatever is next. I've never been one to be fenced in, but the idea that that life could make me happy is a nice thought. This song is about navigating that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I played at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville was a 'pinch me' moment. It was so special to play my songs in such an iconic venue. Every time I write a song is a memorable moment. I love that feeling of creating something from nothing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much left on my bucket list! I'd love to play Ampitheatre shows, more intimate songwriter shows with my songwriting heroes, festivals like Bluesfest and Stage Coach! I'd love to collaborate with my favourite artists.
