Los Angeles' New District make exuberant R&B-infused dance music and romantic acoustic pop. A truly international group, New District came together in 2015 via a worldwide Internet-based talent search conducted by the artist management and development company Isina. Originally, the group featured the talents of Dallas, Texas native Dylan Rey; Thailand-born/Germany-raised Felix Biernat; Brooklyn, New York's Devin Dressman; Germany's Jaden Bojsen; and Boca Raton, Florida native Sean Cavaliere. Roughly a year after joining, Biernat parted ways with the band due to visa problems and was replaced by Julian Martel from Germany. In April 2016 they released their debut single, "Closer," featuring production from Emile Ghantous (Pitbull, Prince Royce, Boyz II Men). A second single, "Ain't Got No Money," followed that August. ~ Matt Collar
