In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I play guitar because strings are attached to sound and emotion. Like a postcard, my melodies try to create bridges between music from elsewhere and our Western musical heritage. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jan Garbarek, I Took Up the Runes Philip Catherine, Transparence Steve Tibbetts, Safe Journey I choose those album because of the sound itself, not particularly for the presence of the guitar. There is in these albums an unclassifiable and beautiful melodic side. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Golden Stream” I like to create spaces with my guitar, to draw landscapes. This song is a great introduction to my work. I'm influenced by many kind of music from classical, to jazz, passing by blues or meditative music. Making soundtrack is also a part of my work. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I traveled a lot around the world to discover new sound. Learning music through contact with different cultures is one of my memorable moments. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to compose the original soundtrack for Alejandro González Iñárritu's next film.
