Combining elements of indie rock and alternative dance music, Sego make lyrics-forward music that's both freewheeling and anxious. After establishing a sound that's parts dance-pop and post-punk on their debut EP, Wicket Youth, in 2014, they leaned more heavily into indie rock for second album Sego Sucks in 2019. Over the next few years, they collaborated with Big Black Delta (2020's "Into the Night"), issued a 17-minute song (2020's "Life with Pam"), and opted for a seductive alt-pop-rap for "TANDANG" in 2023.
