The Luxembourg Signal

About The Luxembourg Signal

Sounds from indie pop band the Luxembourg Signal first surfaced a good ten years after the breakup of Aberdeen, a band many of its members played in and released records with throughout the '90s and early 2000s. Following the breakup of Aberdeen, members contributed to bands like Fonda and Trembling Blue Stars and vocalist Beth Arzy relocated from their Southern California home to the United Kingdom. Original Aberdeen members Arzy, Brian Espinosa, and Johnny Joyner joined with friends Betsy Moyer and Ginny Pitchford to form a band that melded their indie pop roots with noisier impulses. Following years of work writing and in the studio, the band's debut single, Distant Drive, arrived in 2014. An album was planned for later that year. ~ Fred Thomas
