About Vampires Everywhere!

Founded by singer and frontman Michael "Vampire" Orlando, Vampires Everywhere! were a post-hardcore/screamo band from Los Angeles, California. The band had its genesis in 2009 when Vampire, inspired by movies like The Lost Boys, decided to create a band based around all of the ideals that the mythical monsters embody. Rounding out the rest of the lineup with guitarists Zak Dunn and Aaron Graves, keyboardist Jay Killa, bassist Alexander Rogue, and drummer David Darko, the band performed dark, gothic-touched post-hardcore, delivering all the drive common to the genre, but with an extra helping of drama and horror movie style. In 2010, Vampires Everywhere! released their first EP, Lost in the Shadows, quickly following it up with their 2011 full-length debut, Kiss the Sun Goodbye, released on Century Media. After promoting their 2012 sophomore effort, Hellbound and Heartless, the group disbanded at the end of 2013. They briefly released music as the Killing Lights before reverting back to Vampires Everywhere! in early 2015. A third and final album, Ritual, was issued in March 2016. Vampires Everywhere! were buried once again at the close of the year, with Michael Orlando moving on to form Dead Girls Academy. ~ Gregory Heaney & Neil Z. Yeung
