Yung Berg

About Yung Berg

At 15 years of age, Yung Berg already had a record deal, signed to DMX's fledgling Bloodline Records, but his parents sent him to a military boarding school. After his return, he moved to Los Angeles to get his career going again. He established his Yung Boss imprint, ghostwrote for other rappers, and his production team, Yung Bosses, scored tracks for Eve, Juelz Santana, Memphis Bleek, and Shawnna. When he sent the "Sexy Lady" single out to L.A. radio, it became a local hit. Labels approached with major deals, but he eventually settled with Epic Records. The six-track EP Almost Famous was released in July 2007. ~ Cyril Cordor
