A genre SF must read (or hear)
I love this series--all the way up to and including the 3 post-Asimov sequels. This is the place to begin. Best read in order published to avoid spoilers found in the prequels (great though they are) Asimov wrote at the end of his career.
Narrator makes the book even better!!!
I listened to Scott Brick's narration of first four foundation books (unfortunately, the last two are ruined by Larry McKeever) and was so pleased that I started buying any audio book that he narrates!!!
The book is set at somewhat slow pace, and is almost entirely dialog driven but in spite of this, it still managed to become a new favorite of mine! Fantastic author! I'm purchasing the sequel now!
