Diet plan - tells you why, not just how. Highly recommend!
You know how you see those "high fructose corn syrup" ads touting that no one can say *why* they are bad and therefore they must be ok? Jillian explains it in detail! She explains (through personal experience even) and has a plan to stop habitual eating, emotional eating, and explains how to improve our sleep and overall health so it will, in turn, improve our metabolism and mood. She explains in detail why various processed foods are hard on our bodies, at a biological level (but still easy to follow information), and the result it has on our bodies...such as men growing man-boobs of all things, and how to get rid of them. When I heard about the "processed foods"...I immediately thought of all of those tv commercials advertising weight-loss plans where you purchase pre-packaged foods! Now I know why people on those diets aren't getting anywhere without a lot of sacrifice and difficulty! She includes a PDF file with notes on all of the various food and nutrients she discusses, covering the good and bad, and when to take supplements. She also includes a diet plan which doesn't involve counting calories and ensures that if you follow her "rules" (even just one or two to start with), you'll easily drop unwanted weight, feel full and satisfied at meals, and feel better (your mood and energy), your metabolism will naturally improve and you won't be faced with binge eating, emotional eating, feeling starved, or feeling like you have to exercise your life away just to drop a pound. I've so far only tried one of her absolute "must not do" words of advice for a few days and already I'm sleeping better...even though I haven't changed how much sleep I get. This has motivated me to add in more of her diet plan to my life. She says to give her plan two weeks, and you'll be amazed.
Eye opening and a huge wake up call
Great for people looking for the why's and the how's of eating to live longer and to the fullest!!!
Helpful but missing a key ingredient!
This audiobook is filled with very helpful information, but it keeps talking about a PDF file, I don't know how to get it and I would really like it so that I can visually see what I am missing. I would recommend this book, but if it doesn't actually come with the PDF, I would NOT recommend this version. So frustrated!!
