Annabeth is terrified. Just when she’s about to be reunited with Percy - after six months of being apart, thanks to Hera - it looks like Camp Jupiter is preparing for war. As Annabeth and her friends Jason, Piper, and Leo fly in on the Argo II, she can’t blame the Roman demigods for thinking the ship is a Greek weapon. With its steaming bronze dragon figurehead, Leo’s fantastical creation doesn’t appear friendly. Annabeth hopes that the sight of their praetor Jason on deck will reassure the Romans that the visitors from Camp Half-Blood are coming in peace. And that’s only one of her worries. In her pocket, Annabeth carries a gift from her mother that came with an unnerving command: Follow the Mark of Athena. Avenge me. Annabeth already feels weighed down by the prophecy that will send seven demigods on a quest to find - and close - the Doors of Death. What more does Athena want from her? Annabeth’s biggest fear, though, is that Percy might have changed. What if he’s now attached to Roman ways? Does he still need his old friends? As the daughter of the goddess of war and wisdom, Annabeth knows she was born to be a leader - but never again does she want to be without Seaweed Brain by her side.

Amazing but Frustrating

I finished it today and the book is AMAZING I think Its worth this money. Many things I didn't expect though... Characters were mostly the same and for all the romance fanatics out there he REALLY puts emphasis on that part. *MAJOR spoilers ahead!!!* stop reading if you don't want to know the books ending right now! I hated the ending!!! Even worse cliffhanger than the SoN and Lost Hero. Percy and Annabeth literally fall into Tartarus. I think that was the sacrifice Hera warned Percy he couldn't make. To let Annabeth fall to Tartarus. Then we have to wait till Next fall for the next book the house of Hades and I'm getting sick of waiting almost a full year for these things. The books need time to write I understand but this is extremely frustrating especially since two of the most developed, favorite and important characters are suddenly MIA. Grrrr... Rick you really are lucky you write so well because if your writing wasn't so good and relatable I could imagine it happening right now I would have left this series a LONG time ago. anyway this book is amazing people I would never regret getting this ENJOY IT!

YIKES its a lot of money but i might get it :D

does anyone think he's going to crossover percy jackson and the kane chronicles.Cause if you readed the thrid book in the kane chronicles you find out that sadie mother tells us that there are other gods out there.that must mean that a evil team up is going to happen. So that must mean that greek/romans gods are going have to team up with the egyptian gods.
