After a troubling childhood, wealthy Evan Sinclair likes his life orderly and controlled. He rarely gives in to spontaneous urges - until he begins a chance correspondence with a mystery woman who sounds like his complete opposite. She intrigues and amuses him, and the interest seems mutual...which is more than he can say for his current obsession, Miranda Tyler, the tough-as-nails, sexy schoolteacher who's made it clear she's not impressed - or interested. Miranda finally has it all: a good job, friends, and the security of living in the quaint coastal town of Amesport, Maine. She even has an anonymous pen pal - a man she's never met yet has bonded with almost effortlessly. The only thing unsettling her life is Evan Sinclair. The handsome billionaire is arrogant, pompous, and far too used to getting his way. Miranda tries her best to avoid him, until Evan's steamy kiss turns her world upside down. Soon their red-hot desire is scorching the sheets and has them both spinning out of control. But when secrets are revealed, will their insatiable attraction keep them together or force them apart? In J. S. Scott's The Billionaire's Touch, the eldest Sinclair just might have met his match.
Evan has definitely met his match!
Evan has definitely met his match!
This is #03 in the The Sinclair's Series.
HEA with No cliffhangers!
These are about the members of the Sinclair family. The characters are all involved in each others lives and stories so I would HIGHLY suggest you read them in order.
There is sex, dirty talk, and lust fueled cursing. 👍
Evan Sinclair is the last sibling to take a mate. He has always taken care of his younger siblings, or at least tried to. His path has been more difficult than you might think. There is a sad reason why he is so uptight. His father quite literally beat it into him that he was a disabled disappointment. My heart wept for him.
This story is a take on the you've got mail theme and starts back at the beginning. The email correspondence starts during the events of book 0.05 when Randi sends an email to the Sinclair Foundation in case Emily isn't successful in her request for Grady to help save Christmas. Of course Evan is the one to respond to that initial email, and not politely either. Randi's response is priceless and really sets the whole tone. It lets you know that Evan is in for a ride, and that it's going to be good!
Miranda “Randi” Tyler has been with us from the beginning. Best friend to Emily, as well as fast friends to the other females in town. She is a teacher by trade, like her parents, but also tutors children at the community center. Her backstory is just as sad as Evan's. These trust issues make her have some stupid moments, but luckily they don't last long.
Even though the main siblings are taken care of, the series is not over. Up to this point you should be acquainted with the cousins. They have visited and have been talked about. Micah, Julian, and Xander are the next bachelors up for Beatrice to match with their mates. So don't fret yourself friends. There is lots more Sinclair goodness to come!
J.S. Scott has made room in the Sinclair family for more. I am very happy for this addition!
Elizabeth Powers continues to narrate and I think will keep doing so in the future titles. This is a positive thing!
Normal speed is fine, however I listened at 0.90x. It worked better for me.
