From number one New York Times best-selling author Brad Thor comes his most explosive thriller yet. Packed with action, intrigue, and sublime plotting, Black List is the ultimate tale of deception in a world where "even in death" secrets can no longer be kept. Somewhere, deep inside the United States government, is a deadly list. Members of Congress never get to see it and only the president has the final say over it. Once your name is on the list, it doesn't come off - until you're dead. Someone has just added counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath's name to the list. Somehow, Harvath must evade the teams dispatched to kill him long enough to untangle who has framed him for treason and why they want him out of the way. Somewhere, someone, somehow can put all the pieces together. The only question is: Will Harvath get to that person before the United States comes under the most withering domestic terrorist attack ever conceived?
ONCE AGAIN GREAT….
The best author/narrator team by far… I love every book I've listened to and the subject matter of His books are so close to what can and in some ways happening. Almost Prophetic.. Keep up the great work. Only down side is language, but then again being Ex-SpecOpps, its not as bad as it was/is in real life
WAY, way, way too preachy
If it is not the narrator in the introduction, or background to the super spy agency, then it is Nickolas talking endlessly to Scot -- all about the dangers of government overreach. Good time to listen to a 45 minute discourse on lack of privacy -- when close friends are in danger. Yeah, sure, very believable. (Not!)
If I wanted that, I'd tune in Rush, save my money, and be more entertained.
A hang on the edge of my seat, thrill ride! As usual, Brad Thor does not disappoint...painting vivid images with his poignant words. Scot Harvath is an all American hero with a vulnerability to which we can all relate! Thanks, Mr. Thor.
