Manolito De La Cruz knew he was dangerously close to turning into a vampire. The last thing he expected after being called back to his Carpathian homeland by Prince Mikhail was to catch the scent of his destined lifemate in MaryAnn Delaney. MaryAnn is human, but she knows all too well the overwhelmingly aggressive instincts of Carpathian males. And they're not exactly the kind of men she'd prefer to be bound to for life. A dedicated counselor for battered women, MaryAnn has a fulfilling life with no room for someone like Manolito, born and bred in the Carpathian Mountains, a law unto himself. But when MaryAnn agrees to go to South America to offer guidance to a brutalized young woman, she has no idea of the trap that awaits her in the sweltering thick of the jungle. She has been lured there by Manolito himself, who has seductive plans for the unaware, irresistibly human female. Once there, she will be his. Once his, she never will be released. He is her lover, her predator, her lifemate. She is his dark possession.
Best Feehan narration yet!
In addition to being an excellent story by Feehan, this one is the best narrated to date by far! I loved the 2 narrators and their voices. I hope they keep this type of narration for her next books. I love Christine Feehan's books, and I am so glad they didn't use Juanita Parker for this one. The stories are still good, but when they use her for narration, it is inevitably bad narration that jars you out of the story with her bad pronunciation. Good job Brilliance Audio! I will look for more of their audio books.
Dark Possession is very very good! The narration makes it worthwhile and is very impressive. The storyline has good twistst and turns. I've listened to ALL of her audiobooks and you will enjoy this audiobook and crave more!
Track size too big
The book itself is good and worth the buy. I was disapointed because they put this into 2 giant 6hour files (at 90,000MB ea) which crashes my ipod when ever I try to play them I have a 30GB ipod. I can only listen to the book on my PC so i was not happy with the sale.
